Sports Premium Funding

This money is being used to increase participation in PE and develop healthy lifestyles. So far the school has employed specialist P.E. Teachers and extended sporting opportunities. This means there is now football training for all Year 3 to Year 6 children and specialist gymnastics, dance and games teaching (Nursery to Year 6). The school has also invested in additional sports activities for example Dodgeball and Yogabugs and implemented 30:30. Please refer to attachment below to view spending in more detail. The school has achieved the Bronze standard in the Youth Sport Trust Quality Mark self-review. This is valid until 06/01/2021.


The school has achieved the Silver standard in the School Games Mark self-review. This is valid until summer 2020.


In Summer 2020, during the lockdown we achieved the 'The School Games Virtual' award, for ensuring children remained fit and active despite not being in school.
