A Flying Start to Success

Educational Visits

We believe that external visits and visitors within school enhance your child’s learning and experiences

and we endeavour to arrange a visit or visitor every term. Sometimes these may require a voluntary contribution to help subsidise the costs. You will be asked to sign a form called FORM 3A. This

allows your child to take part in local and nonresidential educational visits organised by the school, throughout the year.

A FORM 3B will be used if children are participating in residential or water based activities.

Each year the drama club also visits London to watch a West End Production (2009 – The Lion King,

2010 – Wicked, 2011 – Shrek the Musical, 2012 – The Wizard of Oz, 2013 – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, 2014 - Matilda ). Each year, Year 6 attend a week long residential at Carlton Camp Education Centre (http://carltonoutdoors.org).
