EASTER 2022

This year we are slightly altering our Easter Shows, to enable more time in class for year groups who have statutory tests after the Easter Holidays. This will also free up more hall time for year groups to rehearse. Year groups not performing this Easter, will put on a show in the summer term. I have heard there will be a special visitor during our Monday assembly, Throstie Tots and the Easter Parade.

EASTER RAFFLE
Please note we are also holding an Easter Raffle with EGGcellent Prizes. Tickets are £2 and available via SchoolMoney until 9.00am on Monday 4^th April 2022.

EASTER DATES

Monday 4^th April 2022: 

Easter Assembly with Reverend Michelle (9.15am, children only).
Easter Disco:

4.00pm to 5.30pm: Early Years (Nursery and Reception) and Key Stage 1 Disco (Year 1 and Year 2).
PLEASE NOTE ONLY NURSERY PARENTS AND CARERS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND WITH THEIR CHILD. 
5.45pm to 7.15pm: Key Stage 2 Disco (Year 3 to Year 6).
Please note if you wish your child to go to the disco straight from school, please contact After School Club:  lcleveland@throstonschool.org.uk.
Tickets are now available to purchase via SchoolMoney. The deadline for payment is 10.00am on Friday 1^st April 2022. The cost is £3.50 and includes a snack and sweets.

Tuesday 5^th April 2022: 
Throstie Tots Easter Event, 9.15am to 10.45am.

Wednesday 6^th April 2022: 
Year 1 Easter Shows, Spring Songs (9.15am and 1.30pm) and Year 3 Easter Shows (10.30am and 2.45pm).

Year 3 will perform:

Thursday 7^th April 2022:
Reception Easter Shows, Spring Songs and Poems (10.30am and 1.30pm) and Year 5 Easter Shows, The Easter Story (9.15am and 2.45pm).

Friday 8^th April 2022: 
Easter Parade, Spring Picture Judging (Nursery to Year 4) and Decorated Eggs Judging (Year 5 and Year 6). The parade will be recorded for parents and carers to watch. Children will complete the spring pictures and decorate eggs in school. Children in Year 5 and Year 6 can bring in materials from home to help with their egg designs. For the Easter Parade children are encouraged to make a bonnet or scarecrow at home and bring it into school. There will be prizes for the best entries. We will video any children not there for the Easter Parade on the afternoon of Monday 4th April 2022. We will then show the video during the Easter Parade.
