Wellbeing Award for Schools
Throston Primary School achieved the Wellbeing Award for School in June 2021.
We view the award as the start of our wellbeing learning journey and continue to strive and promote emotional wellbeing for all. We currently have a core group of staff who are wellbeing champions. We are in the process of recruiting members of our pupil leadership team to become wellbeing champions for the children and would love to recruit some parents/carers to join us to become wellbeing champions. If you are interested, please contact Mrs Black.
When the verifier visited school he commented 'It was striking the degree to which relationships between staff, between pupils and between adults and pupils were so positive and so marked by a culture of mutual respect and affection'.
