Over the year, we look at the classical and contemporary composers; Richard Wagner, Ride of the Valkyries and the compositions of Stevie Wonder. 

Children will be taught how to follow traditional notation for simple rhythms and use pulse, rhythm and pitch to create different effects. 

Children will receive recorder lessons from Tees Valley Music Services and will build on the skills they have learned in Year 3.
