At Throston we help your child to know and use numbers and counting in play, using them in real life problems. They learn to recite numbers and to count amounts. In Nursery they compare amounts and they begin to recognise numerals. 

Activities are also provided to help your child to develop their use of mathematical language to talk about size, shape, weight, capacity, position, distance, time and money.
