During Year 4 the children attend swimming sessions at High Tunstall College of Science. Here, they will be taught to: swim competently, confidently and proficiently and use a range of strokes effectively.

The children will experience a wide range of sporting activities throughout the year within their PE lessons:

Dance

Gymnastics

Football

Tag Rugby

Invasion Games

Wall and Net activities

Athletics 

Orienteering 

Skipping  - Some children will be given the opportunity to represent the school performing a choreographed routine in the Hartlepool Schools' Skipping Festival.

Each half term all children compete in the Intra House Competition to earn points for their house. Points are calculated throughout the year and the house with the most points win the end of year House Trophy.
