Today (Friday 27th October 2023) some of our Year 4 children planted a horse chestnut (conker) tree in memory of Lucas after a generous donation.

A HUGE thank you to all our local football teams that held a minute of applause for Lucas this weekend. It was fantastic to see the players wearing orange ribbons 🧡 Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October 2023.

Behind the Scenes. Here are our Year 4 superstars hard at work making orange ribbons for Lucas.

Today (Wednesday 18th October 2023) illustrator Liz Million paid our Year 4 cohort a visit, after hearing about all the wonderful things this year group are doing in memory of Lucas. Thank you so much Liz for giving up your time for us during your very busy schedule!

Here is our kind and caring Year 2 pupil, leading out Pools during their FA Cup match at the weekend. You will notice the orange ribbons and armband, a fitting tribute to Lucas, a fellow Pools fan (Saturday 14th October 2023).

Ted Cullum brought bulbs (including snowdrops) for his class (Class 9) to plant in memory of Lucas. These have now been planted in our school allotment.

Harper Crowe’s family made ‘worry worms’ for her class (complete with orange hair - the favourite colour of Lucas) and worry monsters for staff.

Following a very heartwarming suggestion from Charlie and Harry Flounders, we were prompted to obtain an orange tealight for every child, staff member and governor in the school.
